Designed by Anglo-Iraqi architect Zaha Hadid, MAXXI National Museum of XXI Century Arts, is the first national museum of contemporary art and architecture in Rome.
Its innovative and spectacular design, built in Flaminio district, create an ideal space in which creativity is expressed by artists and architects.
The first exhibition of the permanent collection of the two museums, art and architecture, is called SPAZIO. It will host more than 300 works of art from Gerhard Richter, Andy Warhol Anish Kapoor.
