Casale Cerfoglio is situated on a hilltop offering a panoramic view of the rolling hills and valleys of the surrounding countryside and to the southwest the medieval hill town of Todi.
Construction of the original property dates back to the 15th century when it was built around a church. When the church was abandoned, the building was expanded into a casale (farmhouse). The original church walls and arches remain intact and form the ground floor living and dining areas. Today, the property includes a private chapel.
Each of the large rooms has a unique character, from the 16th century master bathroom sink to the 18th century bedroom doors and the 19th century grand mantelpiece on the main floor – the attention to detail makes this property truly special.
The exquisitely designed and welcoming interior is complemented by the beautiful grounds and exterior lighting. After sunset the majestic lighting, accenting the cypress and olive trees, can be seen throughout the valley.
The cook/ housekeeper Giovanna speaks English as well as Italian so you will quickly find her to be your key resource at the villa. Giovanna will ensure that all common and private areas of the villa are well maintained.
The caretaker of the property will ensure that your stay is enjoyable and will be at the villa whenever required. She lives nearby and can be reached on her cell phone should you wish assistance with tours and reservations or require local services, she will also organize any additional services you request at the villa.

The master bedroom accessed from a private hall off the sitting room. The sitting room can be used as a common area or exclusive to the master bedroom.

lounge/ media room with large plasma TV screen and sound system, fireplace, skylights, 1 double king size bedroom (convertible into a twin bedroom) with en suite bathroom with bathtub and extra hand held shower, dressing room with day bed, 1 very large room with 3 single beds and en suite bathroom with bathtub and separate shower. Bedroom decorated for children, however beds are standard size and would be comfortable for adults as well. These bedrooms can be connected to each other.
