The driveway adorned with a long row of blue irises that leads to the entrance of the villa donates a fairytale atmosphere.
The house opens onto the garden and completely embraces it without interruption. The garden is divided into a path of "rooms" made of hedges and bay leaf. Each room has a specific theme with a different color: the yellow garden is marked by the blue plumbago, enriched by a fountain in the center; the pathway of cherry trees leads to another pathway lined with bushes of lavender and valerian. On the other side you reach the pool and the pool house in the background.
Near the pool area there is a large lawn bordered by chestnut trees. Such a large space is just in front of the paved outdoor area, furnished with sofas and armchairs.
From the lawn, you cross the forest by a pathway that leads to a terrace with spectacular views of Orvieto and the Duomo.
The interiors of the villa offer a cosy retreat offering a softened and relaxed atmosphere. Every room offers a variety of objects, sculptures and paintings depicting faces or hunting scenes. The rooms of the house evoke a Proustian taste, a nostalgia for the nineteenth century, where the library is the most important place during the months more rigid and during the seasons more mild the porch, perfect for cocktail hour.
Included in the rental price is the service of the gardener who can guide you through the city of Orvieto and Rome. In addition to this, the staff of the house provides daily maid service and daily preparation service of the breakfast (food not included).
