This elegant villa built at the end of 1800’s has been lovingly restored by its owners to provide you with every modern comfort while preserving its original Liberty style. As soon as you cross the threshold you will sense that the villa and its grounds are an oasis of peace and tranquillity. The villa is located on the charming island of Sicily, rich in history, culture, colourful landscapes, exotic fragrances and unrivalled cuisine.Villa Mapal is just a 3 min drive from Noto, a fascinating village in the south-east of Sicily. Noto is renowned the world over for its unique Baroque architecture, in fact it was made a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2002. There is a beautiful sandy beach well appointed with bars, trattorias and beach umbrellas a 4 min drive away from Villa Mapal. The villa boasts panoramic views of the surrounding hills, the village Noto and the sparkling blue sea in the distance. The lovely 2000 sqm garden is completely fenced in to ensure your privacy and is full of fragrant pine trees and lemon and orange bushes. In the garden there is a large pool with a pool house/ bar and some verandas and terraces from which you can enjoy the spectacular view of the coast as the sun goes down. On clear days you can even see the southernmost point of Sicily the “ Capo Passero” where the Ionian and the Mediterranean seas meet. The villa is extremely easy to reach, accessible via a quiet country lane where cars seldom pass, connecting Noto to the countryside.
