In the past, Carlina was a typical Tuscan farmhouse. Firstly restored in the years '70 and '80 it was published many times on specialized house interiors magazines like Vogue as example of poor art and conceptual restoring. In the past years the villa guests most of the more famous contemporary artists, friends of the previous owners.
This property called “Carlina” is a luxury villa located in the south west Tuscany, fully immersed in the Maremma countryside, both closed to the Tirrenian Sea and to the main cities of art. At 3 km from the sandy long beach of the Follonica Gulf and less then 2 hour from Florence, Pisa, Siena, this accomodation offers a great variety of opportunities for an unforgettable holiday.
The property covers a green country area of about 6.000 sqm, surrounded by a lovely landscape of sunflower fields and hills. The three-floor villa of about 450 sqm is immersed in a private long dated park with big trees (pines, olive trees,palms, Meditteranean wood and a spectacular secular plane tree. There is a two levels concrete swimming pool 14x7 metres, pool house and gazebos for outside living.

please note that this villa is situated close to a road, there is the possibility to hear some noise once in a while, being in the garden. Inside the house, silence is guaranteed because Carlina is built with very thick double windows.
