Set in the splendid countryside surrounding the famous medieval town of Todi, Casa degli Artisti is situated in a dominant position at the top of one of the highest hills in the area. From the highest point, the antique ruins around Todi are clearly visible. Inside the farmhouse, features such as original stone walls have been kept and compliment the other recently painted walls. The ‘country’ style furniture is tasteful and simple. A short distance from the farmhouse, is the swimming pool and next to it a spacious patio/balcony which has been comfortably furnished making it ideal for dining out under the stars. The parking area is within the property. To reach the farmhouse you go through some splendid countryside, considered one of the most beautiful areas in Umbria. The farmhouse is located by a well-maintained gravel road of approx 400 metres. very good A wonderful villa in a beautiful position. Todi and the area is excellent. This villa has everything for a relaxing pool side holiday with a little sightseeing thrown in. As a chef I like cooking and experimenting with local produe so this was also great. The kitchen was well equipped and pleasant to work in. The one negative was the power supply which was very frustrating as it kepy cutting out when we were cooking. Also the showers leave a little to be desired with a the water tank being a bit small for 7 adults. Other than that a great place to go. |
