Portofino went from a small fishing village to renowned vacation destination in the ‘60s, when the rich and famous personalities of the "Dolce Vita" began to visit Portofino for its sunsets, breathtaking views and exclusive parties.

Villa Tigullo is set on a promontory, called the "Promontorio di Portofino", made famous by the celebrated town of Portofino which is a 15 min drive away. Located in the province of Genoa, the nearest town is Camogli, a typical Italian fishing village with harbour and also a tourist spot.
