Festival, one of the most important jazz festivals in the world. The
entire historical centre becomes a melting pot of music, history and
architecture. Deruta is a town worth visiting, close to Perugia and
renowned for its exquisite hand painted ceramics which are exported
worldwide.
In
southern Umbria you can find
Todi,
with the splendid Piazza del Popolo and the 12th-16th century cathedral,
the town centre is very close from our Umbrian villas.
Quite close to Todi, you can find another jewel of Umbria, the medieval
town Orvieto, which rises up a hilltop with its unique gothic cathedral.
In the southern part of
Umbria, you can find also the
town of
Spoleto, renowned for the festivals of the
Two Worlds and the medieval town of Trevi with its Gothic and Romanesque
churches overlooking the valley from the top of the hill, which is covered
by olive trees.
