In the very heart of the enchanting town of Positano, only a two-minute walk from the beach, this 4-bedroom luxury villa called Positanese is a truly magical place to rent on the Amalfi coast. Every room has a fantastic view of the sea, the Galli islands, and of the famous ancient church ‘Cupola’.
The terrace leading to the villa is decorated with hand-painted floor tiles, laid out for meals ‘al fresco’ and for sunbathing, all with spectacular views of the sea, and of the village nestled in the rocky hills opposite. The villa’s interior is elegantly furnished. The bright living areas have vaulted ceilings and beautiful large wrought-iron windows leading directly onto the terrace. The well-organized and well-equipped kitchen leads directly to the dining room and terrace. The rooms on the first floor have a spectacular sea view, two of which have small ornate balconies adorned with bougainvillaea, framing one of the most unforgettable parts of the Amalfi coast.

it is recommended to avoid renting a car, as parking places in Positano are very expensive. The coast can be visited by taxi or by bus. Pets allowed upon request. There are approximately 100 steps from the parking towards the villa and about 170 steps from the villa towards the beach. It is possible to book a porter service (extra fee) which can be used upon arrival to help with carrying the luggage to the villa.

"Our entire family of 7 fell in love with Positanese. It truly was an idyllic setting and authentic Italian villa with loads of charm and modern amenities. The views from the terrace were stunning and provided great people watching. We were also able to enjoy our morning coffee, lunches and dinner on the terrace.
The location was a mere 99 steps from all that Positano has to offer.....shopping, world class restaurants and the beach. It was a retreat tucked in a hidden hill away from the bustle of the town.
Tess (the villa manager)was available to answer any questions and deal with any issues. She was very helpful and reliable. She prepared a delicious dinner for us our first night at the villa.....as good if not better than some of the top local restaurants.
The only thing lacking was a main floor powder room. Having said that, climbing a few extra stairs each day helped burn off the delicious Italian food and wine that we consumed on our trip!
The Path of the Gods tour was incredible. Everyone was awestruck at the beauty and the history.
Words don’t adequately describe what we saw, heard and took in! Nino, our tour guide, was amazing all around. He has a passion for his work that few people have and generously shares it with his clientele.
We’ve had a fabulous time in Positano. Thanks for all your help!"

“The villa is absolutely stunning and wonderful, the accommodations were as great as the view from the panoramic deck, the 105 steps up were challenging and helped keep us in shape! My only suggestion is providing folding luggage racks in the rooms to keep luggage off the beds or floors for packing/unpacking.”
