Built in complete liberty style by Scottish barons towards the end of 1800 on the sparkling waters of Lake Garda, this luxury villa rental has undergone a fabulous restoration which made it one of the most attractive Italian holiday lakefront villas. Restored and restyled in the most modern way through a home automation system throughout the whole property, it features a heated swimming pool indoors as well as outdoors.
It boasts a cinema, sauna, wellness area, gym equipment, cellar, and billiard room.
But still, the charm of the nineteenth century remained and is recognizable by the external noble structure as well as the ground floor entrance, which opens into a large living room where you can find in the centre a large window that frames the image of the lake. While standing on the romantic furnished terrace you can admire the amazing view of the lake at its best.
Near the villa, one can find Punta San Vigilio, a peninsula to visit for its beautiful natural scenery and even closer to the villa there is la Baia delle Sirene (Bay of the Mermaids). It is one of the most popular and appreciated places on Lake Garda. During the years, these incredible landscapes hosted many poets, and illustrious and noble characters, such as the king of Naples, Alexander the Emperor of Russia, and Prince Charles of England, together with personalities like Winston Churchill, the scientist Otto Hahn, actor Laurence Olivier, actress Vivien Leigh and painter Edith Junghans loved these magical places, admired by Goethe, struck by the unparalleled beauty of the landscape.
The sleeping area is divided into two floors; on the first floor, there are four elegantly furnished rooms, brightly lit by large windows overlooking the lake. On the upper floor, the attic, there are five bedrooms that are simple in both furnishing and materials used during the renovation. All bedrooms have a private bathroom. This sleeping area is ideal for accommodating children or extra guests, up to eight people.
The final touch is on the semi-basement floor, particularly suitable for rentals during the low season. The billiard room, the indoor heated pool with Jacuzzi, the wellness area, the gym equipment, and a home cinema will be much appreciated in case of bad weather.
In front of the villa, bordering the lake, a private pier gives the possibility to have a taxi boat just in front of the house.

due to the presence of the street near the villa, you can hear cars passing while in the outdoor areas. The villa owner lives in a separate house located 300 metres from the villa: privacy is guaranteed. One dog living in the estate. The water temperature of the indoor swimming pool without heating is more or less 17 degrees. There is the possibility to heat up both in and outdoor swimming pool at an extra cost (the 3/4 days of pre-heating in order to arrive at a certain temperature, need to be paid for by the guests as well).
