Ferrosa named after the Etruscan Goddess of the woods, harvest and fertility is a private Italian holiday luxury villa for rent newly restored at a high standard, at only 20 min. away from the Tuscan coast, in Capalbio area.
The 380m2 home is brand new however with old Tuscan features such as stone walls, arches in travertine (the local marble from Saturnia) and ceilings made with wood beams.
The villa has two outside sitting and dining areas with a pizza oven and stone made barbeque. Ferrosa has ample space to sit outside and enjoy the views of the Argentario and Giglio Island. Sunsets are truly spectacular.
Ferrosa has 2.5 hectares of land that is comprised of both a private forest and an olive orchard. In the spring, summer and fall months the villa has a vegetable and herb garden that can be used by the guests. Ferrosa is perfectly located in the rolling hills of Southern Tuscany, the Maremma countryside. This part of the Tuscan coast is among the most sought-after tourism Italian elite. Fine sandy beaches, clean sea, very comfortable beach resorts with restaurants in the direction of the sunset.
If you drive from the coast along with the country, the village Capalbio appears, which is located on a hilltop surrounded by enchanting Tuscan hills. Capalbio, which is only twelve kilometres away (fourteen min.), is an old village that not only offers a relaxed atmosphere during the summer evenings, but you can also stroll through the alleys, discover nice views, eat great food in restaurants, or attend various cultural events, concerts and art exhibitions.
The nearest beach is 20 minutes away, a supermarket only 5 minutes and even horseback riding can be arranged at the local agriturismo.
Nearby towns include Marsiliana, Manciano, Capalbio and the seaside towns of Porto Santo Stefano, Porto Ercole and Orbetello. The swimming pool is located 50 m from the house. Upon booking various services can be organized: Tuscany cooking lessons, in-house chef, extra maid service, and horseback riding lessons.
