Amidst the natural beauty of the badlands of Lazio, on the Umbrian border, this luxury large villa is a homely spot available for weekly rentals as well as an ideal venue for the celebration of weddings or other special events. Villa Etrusca is an exclusive holiday home situated in an estate of thirty-one hectares halfway between Rome and Florence, respectively reachable in one hour and a half and in two hours.
The 16th-century home has been converted into a seven-bedroom villa boasting the most sought-after facilities and staff including an in-house chef to maximize the enjoyment and wellness therapists to invigorate weeklong spa retreats focusing on detox food, yoga, and fitness. The indoor heated pool and the outdoor pool complete the comfort.
The estate itself is a place to be; embellished by vineyards and a huge garden with long-lined hedges. The garden is well-kept and hosts exquisite sculptures including masterpieces of contemporary art, as well as a magnificent 13-century tower completing the domain. The tower, so-called Etrusca Torre, is located on a private side of the estate a few minutes on foot from the main villa.
The Calanchi Valley (badlands), a natural phenomenon drawn by landslides and by the erosive action of water, allows breathtaking views from the terraced garden of the villa.
A charming place of discreet elegance, calm, and contemplation, where guests can indulge in a vacation of total relaxation. Several are the spots where to enjoy moments of delightful rest, the four lounges decorated with pieces that combine the traditional countryside and lush Italian design, by the pools or in the steam bath. Over the past thirty-five years, the owners have been collecting works by key artists from the contemporary world scene such as Anish Kapoor, Banksy, and Mitoraj. They are strategically spread among rose bushes, lemon trees, and cypresses in a game of hide and seek in the unique sculpture garden of the region.
