Fortino is a stylish villa expressly designed for those who are looking for a luxury holiday house to rent in Italy, located in a tranquil area of the Amalfi Coast while being not too far from the well known cities of Positano, Amalfi and Sorrento. Dating back to the 16th century, Fortino is an impressive 3-bedroom villa, built on a rock, which has been recently restored and brought back to its original splendour. Today, after several years of restoration, the villa opens its door to guests looking to spend a relaxing holiday in Furore and explore the entire coast.
The verdant and fragrant inner courtyard will welcome you to this majestic property, with lemon trees adorning the ancient walls. On the ground floor, there are the dining and living spaces, as well as two kitchens (one for the chef use only) and a spacious winter garden for a pleasant moment of conviviality.
Through a characteristic staircase, you reach the first floor and the bedrooms, all of them furnished with refined elegance and with extreme attention to detail. The bedrooms have a Baroque style and are enriched by antiques and carved frames for a touch of royalty. The vaulted roof and the neutral colours of the fabrics are the perfect backdrops to the surrounding beauty of nature.
The garden surrounding the villa is built on several terraces overlooking the sea. There are ancient olive trees and secular sea pine shading the lounge areas, aromatic plants, lemon trees and a biological garden. The infinity swimming pool is surrounded by the typical Mediterranean scrub.

The bed is reachable through a spiral staircase (10 steps).

there are 90 steps from the main road to reach the entrance of the villa, it is not possible to reach the entrance by car. Being the villa located in the village of Furore and on a lower level from other buildings, privacy is compromised in the outdoor areas. Pets allowed. Villa not suitable for disabled people. External chefs and third party providers are not allowed.
