Sorrento, just five kilometres away from Villa Vanto, is the ideal base for excursions along the Sorrento coastline. From Sorrento, it is also possible to take the ferry or hydrofoil to the amazing islands Capri and Ischia or to take the Circumvesuviana train to visit ancient Pompeii and Herculaneum (Ercolano). The nearest sandy beach is only three kilometres away, reachable through a pathway or on a ten-minute drive.

on request, there is the possibility to add an extra bed in 2 bedrooms for children. Villa Vanto is located uphill in a residential area, overlooking the coast. There are other villas in the neighbourhood but privacy is respected.
Please note that beaches on the Amalfi Coast are mainly rocky, with a wooden structure on the rocks where sun lounges and umbrellas are set. To experience the best of the coast, we suggest renting a boat and exploring all the little and quiet bays only accessible by boat.
