Dominating from the top of its 881 meters of altitude, Aquila Reale has a breathtaking view of part of the lake up to the Swiss Alps.
Inside the villa you can feel the brightness of the rooms and the soft colours, as well as space; 8 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms in white marble, and very spacious living areas, to alternate with a living room on the upper floor for a more relaxing atmosphere.
All the rooms have been made homogeneous in colour and style of the furniture, tailor-made and in perfect chromatic harmony with the ceiling frescoes, made in 1900. The refinement of many details inside the villa is an expression of refined simplicity. The same can be found in the pool house and in the aspect of the infinity pool that looks almost suspended above the lake.
The lush garden, of 4.5 acres, is immersed in total tranquillity, yet the nearest town at a 300-meter distance from the villa can be reached on foot.
The advantage of Aquila Reale is that at a 500-meter distance from the villa, you can take the funicular to reach Argegno in four minutes, a pretty village situated directly on Lake Como. this villa is a perfect base for hiking and mountain biking. The caretakers of the property live in a separate apartment in the basement. The villa has its own luxury boat moored at the bottom of the funicular in Argegno that can be used at extra cost. No pets allowed. Non smoking villa. The elevator goes up to the second floor, the third floor is only reachable by the staircase. Although the property features 9 bedrooms, it can accommodate comfortably up to 14 guests in its living areas instead of 18. No parties or events with external guests allowed.
