After a long and careful restoration, this majestic villa for rent in central Rome shines more than ever since 2019. Unanimously considered one of the most prestigious private villas in Rome, Villa Clara is ideally located in the centre of the capital of Italy, in one of the top residential areas of the well known Eternal City, facing the garden of the Borghese gallery.
Built in 1929 in liberty style, the villa today represents the extraordinary style of its famous French decorator and home designer Jacques Garcia, here inspired by Greek-Roman architecture. The preciousness of the materials used for the restoration, such as amethyst in parts of the walls and the precious marbles, combine well with the gilded walls and the wooden ceilings edged in gold. Ebony and ivory highlight certain beautiful corners of the villa. Walking from one room to another is a real experience of amazing beauty. High quality antiques from Italy, Japan and China create environments of enchanting uniqueness.
Villa Clara is divided into four levels, offering four suites, two of which are on the first floor and two others on the lower floor. All bedrooms are equipped with a TV, safe and Wi-Fi internet connection. On the lower floor, you will find all the comforts for body and mind relaxation; a swimming pool, sauna room, Turkish bath and a massage room. For the physical toning of the villa’s guests, there is the gym and the swim against the current system in the swimming pool, which represent an excellent alternative for the walks in the historical centre of the city. Last but not least, Villa Clara offers a terrace with a 360-degree panoramic view over Rome, furnished for dining and relaxation, completed by a Jacuzzi to encourage alfresco living. The villa is equipped with a fully integrated security system, climate control system and elevator. In the outdoor area, there is a secured parking area for three cars inside and two cars outside.
