Located in a splendid beachfront position in Marina di Modica, Lumari is a contemporary luxury villa for rent in Italy, offering its guests exclusivity and comfort. This high-end beach vacation rental is the ideal choice for a relaxing seaside holiday on the Southern coast of Sicily.
This splendid property is set over three floors and features modern interiors. The ground floor includes a sitting room, a kitchen and two bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms. On the first floor, there is the living area and a guest bathroom, a second and well-equipped kitchen and two other bedrooms, both with private bathrooms. The second floor consists of a master bedroom with en suite shower and a panoramic terrace.
Lumari is equipped with all the modern facilities and also offers a wellness room with sauna and Jacuzzi. It is the right home for a luxury holiday and a perfect base for visiting the baroque towns of Modica, Scicli, Ragusa and Noto.

"We were five women on vacation, one American and five Italians from Milano. We go to a location every year together. Separately, I usually take my entire family for one or two weeks in summer to a much larger villa or castle. I love working with Home in Italy. They are professional, organized and recommend activities and things to do.

This villa was fantastic! It has a beautiful pool outdoors which we were in every day after touring. There is a hot tub and sauna inside but we were too busy touring, swimming, eating and enjoying the view to try them out this time. The house itself is lovely and modern. There is an outdoor grill on the patio, which we also did not use. We employed a cook and domestic to care for the house so that I was not the one to do it all, and a driver so that I was not wasting time trying to locate places to go or park. This was perfect since we only had a week there.

The location is dreamy. We were right on the beach; just walk outside the gate and the rocky beach was there where divers and some surfers went out. The weather was fantastic. A big storm before we arrived caused there to be lots of waves which lulled me to sleep at night. The summer saw temperatures in the 40C!! But we enjoyed sunny hot days in the 30's and cool nights.

A clean, sandy beach was just a few hundred meters walk along the driveway along the beach itself. In early September, the sea water and pool were both still good for swimming.

The area is full of history and beauty. The people of this part of Sicily are particularly spectacular and kind and just wonderful to have gotten to know a bit. Our cook and domestic was Marisa who did a wonderful job for us. Our autista company was Giorgio Maltese's car service, who was a young and kind person. His other drivers added interesting stories about places we visited from a long time local resident's perspective, like the city of 100 churches where he pointed out, "look there, oh another church!!" with a laugh.

Truly a wonderful vacation. Personally, I would like our group to come back again next year for one more week to share the time, weather, people and location. We laughed and exercised on the lawn, walked, toured, ate and just had a wonderful time.

I hope everyone else could have this kind of relaxing and sunny experience."
