Immersed in a calm oasis in the middle of a holiday hotspot, this large fortified Italian villa for vacation rentals is one of our favourite luxury retreats in Sicily. Perfect for Italian style events, Siciliana is a secret castle ex-feud that can be found on the extreme outskirts of a plateau, looking out towards Mount Etna, north of Syracuse and in the centre of eastern Sicily.
This large villa has a square structure: on one side you can find several large rooms transformed into a large dining room, some living rooms connected directly together, and a sitting area with an open fireplace where you can read your book and relax.
Two parts, the ex-farm workers' houses, today are transformed into twelve bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and each of them with direct access for the courtyard.
Every room has the same comfort, affectedly decorated with pastel colours, equipped with air conditioning, a satellite TV, a minibar and a safe.
The charming atmosphere of the real Sicily from a century ago is so real at Siciliana for its mix of antique and rustic chic style. Comfortable and with a huge garden with plenty of colourful flowers and various Mediterranean plants, that it’s a joy for the eyes.
Exploring around, the nearest interesting town is Syracuse, easy to reach from the villa, at twenty-three miles. Along the coast, you will visit Noto, Taormina and many other stunning baroque small towns.

concierge service, welcome refreshment on arrival, daily maid service in the morning (5 hours per day) , daily cooking service for breakfast from 8am to 10am, lunch from 12:30pm to 2:30pm and dinner preparation from 7:30pm. to 9.30pm (the times indicated can be changed upon agreement with the cook, food and drinks excluded), change of linen and bath towels on Saturday and midweek, pool towels change on request, heating, air conditioning, final cleaning.

"The villa was a spectacular setting and so beautifully restored. Made the perfect setting for a large group where there were lots of communal spaces but allowed for privacy and space at the same time. The grounds were beautiful and there were also many paths for running and walking. The best part of the experience was the wonderful staff that anticipated and took care of every need. Both the food and the service was outstanding. A lot of attention was paid to details which made a big difference. For example, the dinner table was always beautifully set; there were fresh flowers in each room, the beds were made every morning, water was kept supplied in the refrigerator in every room, etc. What is not published on the website is that there is a view of the sea from certain parts of the villa grounds. Truly a stunning property. The pool was a great hangout spot in the afternoon. It is a big salt water pool. Perfect space behind the pool for a bar and for serving food. I loved it."

"The villa is conveniently located in south east Sicily between Catania and Siracuse and only 3 miles from the beach town of Brucoli. From the moment we arrived to our departure the villa staff made us feel at home and took care of all our needs. We had our breakfast and dinner at the villa and the food and service were outstanding and very reasonable priced. We paid for only the actual cost of the food and beverage Our group consisted of 10 adult couples and all the 12 bedrooms were a good size and all had full en suite bathroom. The villa property is really special with a large pool with a fully appointed pool area with bar, refrigerator, lounges, tables and chairs in a separate area near the main house.There are large formal gardens, water features, and walking trails that go for several miles which allowed for great exercising. The main house has 2 living room areas, a huge dining area, large commercial kitchen, office with concierge service, outdoor patios and garden seating areas."

"Villa Siciliana was absolutely perfect for our very large group that filled all 12 rooms of this stunning estate. Our time here couldn't have been better. The rooms and common areas of the villa were tasteful, spacious, and well looked-after; the grounds, extensive and colorful with local flora, were beautifully maintained, and the staff were both attentive and discreet. Our group consisted of six families, a mix of adults, teens, and young children, and everyone was happy: there was no end to the discoveries around the property - extensive lawns, lush orange groves, hidden caves, courtyards, verandas, and surprise retreats. Our meals were delicious and all of the staff were sweet and amenable to our many and varied dietary needs. A wonderful experience for everyone that I would highly recommend."
