Built at the end of the nineteenth century as a former hunting mansion for the Dukes of Castelfalfi, villa Delfi, an exclusive 5-bedroom Italian holiday home, has been recently renovated and transformed into a rustic luxury villa available for weekly rentals in Tuscany.
The architect made a good job observing carefully the monument protection and taking extreme attention to remaining as close as possible to the historic archetype.
Delfi transformed into a luxury, spacious villa for 10 guests, offering breathtaking views, and a perfect location for exploring surrounding treasures. The nearby Castelfalfi resort offers the possibility to rent bicycles and follow one of the bike tours through the interesting and beautiful countryside. In case you do not feel like taking the car during your relaxing holiday, there are two restaurants at only a two-kilometre distance from the villa. For leisurely days to spend indoors, this luxury property is provided with a gaming room, fully equipped with board games, an elegant billiard, video games and more than 300 channels for sports lovers who don't want to miss the latest updates!
With its perfect price/quality deal, Delfi offers an excellent getaway for a group of family or friends seeking relaxation but also lots of activities.

approximate 600m of gravel road leading towards the villa; it is not convenient for roadsters, while all other types of cars can pass this road easily. The closed-circuit television is only active when the alarm system is switched on and the villa is empty. Small pets allowed (only dogs, no cats). Non smoking villa. No mobile reception in the gaming room. Due to renovations, Castelfalfi golf course will not be available from November 2024 to the end of 2025.  On request, it is possible to organize truffle hunting hike, tasting and cooking class.

"Would you recommend your villa?: Definitely - it was large, interesting architecturally, very clean, comfortable and well appointed, and was in a marvellous position overlooking olive groves and vineyards, with rolling hills beyond. Excellent large swimming pool. On a couple of points of detail, it lacked an electric kettle, and also an electric fan for use in rooms which did not have air conditioning.
Service before travel: Excellent - lots of help with the booking, and accurate location information etc sent in advance
Service while on trip: We were contacted on our first day to check that everything was OK
Villa location: Excellent. One thing to note - the proximity of the Castelfalfi resort looks like an advantage because of the restaurants it offers, but on one occasion we could not get a booking because we were not staying at the hotel
Staff in the villa: Lisa & Lanciotto were very pleasant people, and nothing was too much trouble for them. For example, they lent us a computer printer when we needed one, and came to help very quickly when the electricity was cut by a thunderstorm. I can’t speak highly enough of the service they provided

"We stayed at villa Delfi during the month of June- July.
The villa is fantastic, we booked the chef to cook dinner for us and she was great. Very good food and great service. the villa has easy to access from Pisa airport. However to get to the villa, at the end there is a short but steep gravel road. the village next to the villa is small with very few shops and restaurants. Need to drive 30 minutes to get to a larger city. Excellent staff. Each time we had a problem in the villa, we got assistance immediately (for example when internet stopped working or when after a storm, we had no running water).
Home in Italy assistance was excellent, all our questions were answered quickly and our all needs were addressed with care."
