This area of Tuscany called Maremma has been allocated to pastoral land for centuries, populated by a few villages separated from one another by the vastness of the agricultural areas. In recent decades the Maremma area has become known to discerning travelers who love to stay in the countryside and occasionally disconnect from it by spending time at the beach for a few hours or for a whole day.
The closest beach is in Talamone, which is twenty-two kilometres away, where it is possible to choose from a variety of beach clubs or authentic unspoilt beaches. The coast of Talamone is characterized by the presence of the typical Mediterranean vegetation and by long sandy beaches, lined with pine forests.
Heading further south along the coast, the wonderful beaches of Orbetello Natural Reserve are about a twenty-minute drive away, while Porto Santo Stefano, with its stunning beaches and coves of the Argentario promontory, is thirty minutes away.
With a thirty-minute drive, it is possible to reach the Argentario Golf club located near Porto Ercole, while the closest village to the villa is Magliano, five kilometres away.
