Set on a hillside overlooking the Tuscan hills, Faggeto is a large 9-bedroom villa for rent with private pool and tennis court.
The Val d'Orcia is a wonderful area, due to the protection of the natural beauty of its enchanting landscape so much so that it is recognised for its artistic heritage, and for these reasons recognised as a Unesco World Heritage Site. It is in this marvellous natural context that Faggeto is set, formerly a convent and recently transformed into a villa of a high standard and great charm.
A path lined with old cypress trees leads up to the villa, which is completely fenced and where the noises of the modern world cannot be heard, but where you are simply surrounded by gently rolling green hills and where a real sense of peace and quiet reigns supreme.
The villa offers every comfort: from the pool and the carpet-surfaced tennis court to the double pool house, one complete with sauna and shower and situated below the pool, the other next to it, with changing room and a bathroom with shower.  The villa also offers a billiard room to its guests.
Faggeto is on three floors. The ground floor consists of spacious and light dayrooms. The kitchen is particularly lovely, complete with high standard furniture and furnishings. It is modern and extremely practical. From the kitchen, just as from all the other rooms on the ground floor, there is direct access to the garden.
Only one bedroom is on the ground floor. The others are on the first and second floors. The style of all the bedrooms and the conveniences provided in them are all the same. This is what makes this villa a perfect choice for groups of friends. The bathrooms, too, are similar, their travertine and local terracotta tiles creating a mix of pastels that are pleasing to the eye. The towels are top quality.
This hilly part of south-eastern Tuscany is also famous for its beneficial thermal baths. San Casciano dei Bagni offers a fabulous spa and thermal pools. Cetona is an enchanting Tuscan town with a couple of well-known restaurants and the weekly market well worth a visit. This is the real Tuscan countryside! For lovers of good wine, Montepulciano, where wine cellars offer wine and art, is a must.
The shops closest to the villa are at Radicofani (ten minutes from Faggeto, 6km/3.5 miles) and the supermarket and biggest shopping centre are at Chiusi. The villa can also be easily reached from the motorway, exit Chiusi, which is 25 kilometres from Faggeto.

no smoking allowed at this villa, no pets allowed. 1km/0,6mile gravel road in sufficient condition. No landline at the villa. The tennis court is for amateur use only, in case guests of Faggeto require the usage of a professional tennis court, the owner is offering one for 10 hours per week at a nearby agriturismo. External chefs or any other third party service providers are not allowed at the villa unless prior approval by the owner. FIreplace located on the second floor can be used by the guests. Bedroom 7 has lower ceilings.
