Spectacular!
Thank you to the wonderful people of Travertino. We brought our entire family and many friends to celebrate my birthday in style. This was a magical week everything was perfect and thoughtful. No request too hard, no detail too difficult. Simona made everything possible.
We had an amazing time that we will consider as one of the best family trips ever.

"Would you recommend your villa?: We would absolutely recommend Travertino. The villa has been elegantly renovated - modern, yet with a lovely Tuscan feel. The pool area was great for adults and kids alike and the tennis court and workout facilities were brilliant.
Service before travel: Excellent service every step of the way. The uncertainty due to Covid resulted in countless questions to the Home in Italy staff. We always received prompt, thoughtful and accurate responses that were immensely helpful and made our trip much less stressful and therefore much more enjoyable than it otherwise would have been.
Service while on trip: Impeccable service. Home in Italy responded quickly to all our questions and helped us secure all the services we requested from their trusted partners, sometimes on very short notice. We required a fair bit of car services which Home in Italy assisted with and everything went as smoothly as possible.
Staff in the villa: The staff were very nice and helpful throughout the trip. The breakfast service was top notch and dinner was great as well. Costanza took care of our every need.
Cleanliness: The rooms were cleaned daily as was the kitchen. The outside areas were especially neat and clean as well.
Home in Italy assistance: Home in Italy gets our highest recommendation. We will definitely be booking through them again for our next trip to Italy.

"We enjoyed our stay at Travertino tremendously and found everything pretty much as expected.
The only issue we had was with the air conditioning which would be much improved if the temperature could be adjusted in each room separately.
I would have no reservation to recommend it to any of my friends.

"Our family has had the most amazing week at your beautiful villa celebrating our mother’s 75th birthday this year.
The villa location is great, in the southern part of Tuscany with beautiful views.
We highly recommend Home in Italy great and excellent service before and during our trip.
Everything has been just perfect, the villa, the grounds, the tennis court, the beautiful gardens and last but not least the delicious breakfast and dinners we’ve been served here and the warm and wonderful staff.

"What can you make out of a traditional Tuscan/Umbrian farmhouse?
I am sure many things, but Travertino is of exceptional design. The living room is of particular success, the indoor-outdoor- flow never seemed to loose its appeal and amazement. The windows are beautifully set out and the overall atmosphere in this room, but also in the villa in general, are wonderful. A lot (!) of time had been spent on planning the layout and flexibility of the villa. The attention to detail in the design of the 'small' things be they window shutters, built in cabinets and minibars, the AV system, doors - what amazing doors!!!!, does not go unnoticed and in our case is truly appreciated. The execution of the architectural features is gorgeous, the stone work exceptional. Travertino truly gives room to breathe, generous, no expenses spared and that permeates the feeling during your stay. Touchingly sought out outdoor spots for spreading out if your in a big group. Amazing kitchen - you can let the uber-chef of your inner dreams come to life! Lovely pool, brilliant in it's simplicity and a delight to look at, embedded into its surroundings. Pristine tennis courts, fit for a Masters tournament. The bocci court was not functional during out stay, but am sure would be super fun in the late afternoons...
The garden is coming on beautifully and will only get better and better. The lavender-roses checkerboard flower bed is a theatre of dancing butterflies! Gorgeous orchards, kitchen garden and vineyard.
Worth noting that the villa is set in working farm grounds, you will have some noise from that; but all that good wine and food does need to grow somewhere.... Plenty of food shops etc nearby, very easy and convenient, especially fun to swing by on one of the many supplied bikes. Perfect little gym, very comfortable, proper professional massage/ treatment bed and sauna/ steam room. Tremendous therapists from the nearby thermal baths.
Last piece of advice: don't make too many plans for visiting nearby sites, this house and grounds have so much to offer and is too comfortable! Better to book two weeks, rather than one ; ) We honestly absolutely loved our stay here and would recommend it wholeheartedly."
