Set in the province of Siena, in one of the most fascinating areas of Tuscany, you can find various luxury villas for vacation rentals in the vast estate of Casole. The estate offers beautiful dreamy places for an Italian holiday in the countryside including prestigious large villas for rent, extended over 1700 hectares. An avenue of cypress trees rises towards a restored historical castle, and from there, in a few steps, you can reach a village of residential villas called “Casali”, and farms in full activity where you can buy organic products.
The Casali di Casole estate is deeply rooted in the agricultural history of Tuscany since the Bronze Age, (from 3000 BC). As a matter of fact, during the restoration of many of these “Casali”, several artefacts of Etruscan peasants were discovered, which are now displayed in the castle and in the Civic Archaeological Museum of Casole D’ Elsa.
Thanks to the peculiarity of being situated in the middle of the forest, Escaiole can be considered one of the most peaceful places of the entire estate: this villa offers special privacy to its guests in the external areas.
While contact with nature is certainly the most appealing trait of the outdoor area, indoor the house is fully furnished with Tuscan antique furniture, Italian marble and ceramics, making the villa an elegant location for a relaxing stay.
The infinity swimming pool dives into the forest and is located in the back of the house, whereas in the south part of the property a stunning view extends up to the bell towers of Radicondoli.
This fully air-conditioned villa is composed of a main building and guest residence for a total of 8 bedrooms.
A comfortable country road leads to Mensano, a medieval village that overlooks the Metallifera Hills, offering a truly breathtaking panorama. It’s worth to have a meal in the local restaurant, which offers different types of dishes of the Tuscany traditional cuisine.
As an alternative to relaxation or visits to art cities nearby, the staff of the estate can organize various activities:
mountain bikes are available for biking between meadows and along tree-lined paths that cross all over the estate. This area is particularly suitable for bike excursions, so tours can be organized cycling towards Radicondoli, Monteriggioni and Casole D’ Elsa.
Horseback riding among majestic woods, wide valleys and lush vineyards can be organized by the equestrian centre located about 35 minutes from the estate.
For those who love playing golf, there is plenty of choice near the estate: in 40 minutes you can reach the Castelfalfi Golf Club, Tenuta La Bagnaia Golf Club is 45 minutes away, while Ugolino Golf Club is just an hour away. Exciting cooking and painting courses can be organized at the estate on demand.
