The 15th-century property lies on a hilltop position dominating Umbrian and Tuscan hills on two sides.
The renovation of this dreaming hamlet has been carried out fully respecting the original beauty and structure, carefully bringing out the most significant characteristics; the beautiful mottled stone and round arches. Terra-cotta floor tiles, oak-beam ceilings, rustic antiques and bare stone walls create the finest country rustic effect with city-elegant furnishings and completely modern kitchens and bathrooms.
Set among the landscape which has formed the background to so many paintings, La Sommita’ radiates from every view a picture of harmony and beauty.

Guests of the La Sommita’ are lodged in five beautifully decorated, spacious stone houses, two of which, the Cottage and Limonaia, stand on the hill below the old chapel, looking out over the valley. All houses boast quality furnishings and the kitchens are fully equipped with all modern amenities such as a dishwasher, washing machine, satellite and local television, cd player, and a separate telephone line with a meter. At about seven minutes by car, there is another villa called Arcelle. Renting La Sommità, Ada and Arcelle together it is possible to host up to 52/56 guests.

the whole property can accommodate up to 26 guests. Only for weddings, it is possible to rent also the Chapel to accommodate a maximum of 30 people.
The 2 double rooms in the Chapel do not have air conditioning, however, they are cool because of their thick walls.

In the Borgo there is a private house on the old Chapel side, owned by a single American man who comes once or twice a year, alone or with a few friends, privacy is guaranteed.
