Located in the heart of Umbria region, at only twenty minutes driving from Perugia city centre, this luxury Italian villa is available for holiday weekly rentals. Saluki is a fascinating vacation residence that matches the modern comfort with the traditional style offering its guests a relaxing holiday immersed in the countryside.
Villa Saluki is part of an exclusive and completely private estate counting several luxury villas elegantly furnished, each one with its own garden, swimming pool and breathtaking views over the valley.
On the same estate, located a few minutes driving from the villas, there is the famous 18-hole championship golf club Antognolla, designed by the architect Robert Trent Jones Jr. The layout of the golf course features dramatic cliff-lined fairways, beautiful lakes and stunning views of the Antognolla castle and surrounding countryside, giving golfers 18 holes of pure pleasure.
A restaurant and a bar are located ten kilometres from the golf club, offering the guests the possibility to enjoy lunch and dinner within its authentic interior or on the panoramic terrace. The restaurant’s enchanting atmosphere reflects the true Umbrian lifestyle with a fine cuisine rich in local traditions using fresh ingredients from the estate.
The estate is well renowned for its 6.000 hectares of immaculate woods and olive groves and for its superb valleys, lakes and rivers, as well as for its impressive level of service, with the possibility to organize private dinners at the villa, cooking lessons, wine tastings, beauty treatments and massages, a butler service available for the guests.
Villa Saluki offers 360° views over the estate and it impresses with its fine interior design and a large infinity pool that seems to float above the valley.

"We recently concluded a week's stay at the magnificent Villa Saluki. It sits at the top of the ridge and offers a panoramic view of the mountains and valleys of Umbria. The villa itself is beautifully appointed, comfortable, and well-equipped. It's one of those rare occasions when the actual beauty of the place exceeds the promise of the glossy brochures.

We were very pleased with the attention of the staff both before and during our visit. Elisa and Carlotta were always prompt and responsive, and helped plan activities for our group. They helped us arrange a trek to the cross atop nearby Monte Tezio. As no one in our group would be mistaken for an alpinist, I was concerned for our safety. We were provided, however, with not one but two guides (Fabrizio and Enzo), who not only guided us but carried water and a picnic lunch, which we enjoyed at the top. Our exertions were rewarded by a wonderful BBQ (read: a delicious array of Umbrian pork products) at Il Caldaro, which was included in the price of the hike. We had several other fine meals at Il Caldaro, the restaurant on the estate, and enjoyed the attention of their gracious and attentive staff. We also took part in a fun and interesting cooking class directed by the head chef at Il Caldaro, with the amiable and omnipresent Fabrizio providing additional instruction and commentary.

With all there is to do and see in Umbria, it's easy to overlook that Saluki is also the ideal place to do absolutely nothing. One of our best days there was a rainy day spent reading, napping, and listening to the wind in the trees. It's hard to imagine a more relaxing and tranquil spot.

We are eager to return to this extraordinary villa. We will be back!"
