From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for something special. Pinch me-the view and the villa were absolutely incredible. Every detail, from the beautiful, breathtaking surroundings to the charming, old-world design of the house, made our visit feel like a dream.
Your warm hospitality and thoughtful touches made our family of ten right at home. It was a true summer holiday that we will cherish for years to come. We leave with full hearts, great family memories, and a deep appreciation for everything you did to make our visit so special.

Thank you for the most marvellous time in this gorgeous villa. It was perfect for a large family of 9 - along with our two precious babies. You made it feel like family! Each meal was perfection - not a single bite we didn’t all love. You took care of every detail and created a space for us to make memories that last a life time! Todi’s beauty was so evident to us this past week in the amazing surroundings as well as your care for us. We are deeply appreciative and thankful.

You have been responsive, and incredibly helpful with all our questions and helping us understand what we need. Claudio was an amazing chef. He created so much joy with his cooking. His team was stellar. The villa exceeded our expectations. So comfortable and plenty of room for our family.

Cleanliness: Perfect – cleaning services are provided every day
Home in Italy assistance: Great - they helped with reservations and plans in advance of our trip and answered my many questions

In general, would you prefer the check-in day possible on any day of the week? If so, which one: That’s always nice if possible but not a huge issue for us.

"Villa Peonia is a truly special property in Umbria that is just perfect for friends or larger families! Every day we made use of several of the many incredible facilities: tennis court, spa, gym, bocce, volleyball, ping pong, and pool. We had 5 older teen boys with us and they were never bored. The only hard part is tearing yourself away from the house to go tour the beautiful local hill towns. There are several incredible outdoor spots to relax and eat outside and we rotated through these depending on the sun and the hour. The gardens are beautiful, as are the views, so nearly all of our time was spent outside enjoying the nice weather. The villa has a pizza oven, which makes for a fun pizza night and we also use of the grill (they have a Green Egg too!). The villa manager, Claudio, is on hand to help with anything you may need or any issues that may arise. This was a great help as it is a large property and it takes some time to get to know the ins and outs of any house. Overall, the service was just amazing and is a big part of why we are excited to rent this home again".

Would you recommend your villa?:  Most definitely. It is beautiful with amazing vistas all around.
Service before travel: Wonderful! Michelle is incredibly responsive and efficient and very courteous.
Service while on trip: Great. Indeed the service provided by Claudio and Chef Gabriele was unsurpassed.
Staff in the villa: The gardener and housekeeper came daily and were pleasant and efficient.
Claudio, the villa manager was totally amazing! He was very prompt with his daily responsibilities and caring for the property. Claudio clearly went over and beyond the call of duty. He brought us delicious, fresh cakes twice that his wife had made. He was helpful with local information. It was very reassuring to have him so close and so responsive. He truly has a wonderful spirit of service to do any and everything to be helpful with such a friendly attitude and a smile.
Chef Gabriele prepared our nightly dinners and is one of the most talented and extremely versatile chefs that I have ever experienced. He prepared a very wide variety of very delicious dishes. He is very responsive to communications and accommodating to any request we may have. He is very friendly and engaging and demonstrates a "aim to please" spirit and that he did indeed. It was the best food we had in all of Italy.
Cleanliness: Clean and neat. The gardens are beautifully designed, but may need more than the one gardener on staff to be fully "pristine". I do believe Claudio is aware and working on catching the gardens up to optimum beauty.

"We LOVED Villa Peonia!! The villa was everything you said and more! The property was nestled so beautifully in the hills with so many breathtaking views! The gardens were beautiful and really made this property extra special. Cohen, the caretaker, was wonderful too. The kids loved playing the tennis in the evenings as we sat on the beautiful patio watching them with a glass of wine. A perfect summer vacation. The interior was beautiful but had all the modern conveniences we love! Todi was great-- full of charm and fantastic restaurants! Thank you for the great villa recommendation--it exceeded all our expectations!! Our favorite property & vacation was another Home in Italy in Tuscany many years ago--this property was even better!! We will be using Home in Italy in the future as the properties are so special! I'm sure we will be back at villa Peonia in the near future:) Thank you again! Keep in touch!
