"Every aspect of this place is pure heaven. We love the size of the rooms, the feel of the house. There was a nice breeze every day, including in 36.5C weather that kept things moving and cool. The support for move-in day is amazing; Marianella is super sweet and provides a little starter set, because you really cannot get arrested on a Sunday in this part of Italy, so having something to eat and work with is essential. We loved our family-style lunch at La Bellona up the road, which was suggested. Internet connection was also improved so I could also take calls and upload video easily. It was as relaxed as we have ever been. There are only two big knocks on the villa: 1) remote as hell, and 2) many bugs in the summer."

"Hi. Back in Puerto Rico. I want to thank you for everything. We had a fabulous time in Umbria and got to visit many parts of Italy. Villa Canelle was superb. We did some ‘improvements’ to the villa by buying better wine glasses and a decanter.
You should add to the list of information for Canelle a small store, Alimentaria, on the road from the villa to Umbertide in Spedalicchio. It is well stocked and nearby. The hrs are variable!
We visited 14 different towns/cities. Asissi, Orvieto, Montefalco stand out. But also enjoyed Panicale, and Passignano sul Trasimeno with great views of the lake. We did 2 long trips to Modena for lunch at Osteria Francescana, and to Bologna for a visit to the Lamborghini factory. Both times returned the next day."

"Just to say we thoroughly enjoyed our week in Cannelle. It was truly beautiful and the villa was well appointed and well stocked - everything worked and we had a very relaxed and chilled time. The view was superb, no sound or light pollution- sure off the beaten track but that was part of the charm. Butterflies and bees galore - really beautiful. Fantastic weather - sun but still a cooling breeze ! We would definitely return and recommend to others."

"We are now back in London, and we had such an amazing time with our family in Italy. We are actually in love with Italy. The chef, Daniella was fabulous. The meals she cooked for us was with thought and care. She made the best tiramisu we have ever tasted! Sally the babysitter was fantastic. My toddler, loved Sally. I would definitely would use both the next time we are in Italy. And the panoramic view from the villa was breathtaking! For two weeks, we never missed a sunset from the villa. It was that beautiful."
