The breathtaking view over the Amalfi coast is definitely the wow factor of this luxury holiday home for rent in Italy. The 4-bedroom vacation villa is set right in the upper part of the historical centre of Amalfi; the building, dating back to the 15th century, is located at only a six-minute walk from Piazza del Duomo, where the famous Sant’Andrea cathedral captivates the travellers. The square is considered the heart of the town where restaurants, shops and bars invite guests to relax and experience the famous Italian dolce vita.
The villa has various terraces from which one can enjoy the unique scenery of the coast from different perspectives. Lovely decorated, the villa has generous grounds filled with lemon trees and a very large vegetable garden, which is at the guests’ disposal during the stay. From the terraces of Casa Limone, the guests can admire the majestic bay of Amalfi, the nearby town called Atrani and the magnificent Gulf of Salerno as well. The swimming pool is equipped with a hydromassage system installed on two sides. At a few minutes' distance, one can find beach clubs, a taxi station and the harbour where to take the hydrofoil to Positano, Capri, Sorrento, Ischia and Naples.
Being set in the historical centre means that there is no parking at the villa, while there is a public one at a two-minute walk from the villa, called ‘Luna Rossa’. From here, the villa can be reached in a few minutes by two different lift systems adjacent to the parking lot. From the lift system, there are seventy-four steps to go down and twenty-four steps uphill to reach the house. If stairs are preferable, it is possible to walk up to the villa from the parking (three hundred steps). From the latter to the lift system downstream of the house, there are ninety-five steps to descend. You can also opt for private parking with valet service, which can be booked upon request.

The villa doesn’t have a private parking area, being located in the upper historical centre of Amalfi, however, there is a toll parking located under the villa. An elevator system called Luna Rosa is available from this parking to the villa. From Luna Rosa, there are another 98 steps to reach the villa, therefore, we do not recommend this villa for people with disabilities or those with health problems. If stairs are preferable, it is possible to walk up to the villa from the parking (three hundred steps). The Luna Rosa elevator's cost starts from € 1 one way and is available between 8am till midnight. There is a second elevator going towards the centre of Amalfi and its pedestrian area, the cost starts € 3 per person. The walk to the nearest beach is 15 minutes. Bedrooms 2, 3 and 4 have an attic roof. External chefs or any other third party service providers are not allowed at the villa.
