This large contemporary deluxe Italian villa built for vacation rentals is a work of art. Sleek, sophisticated, it has been designed by the famous architect Piero Lissoni, who wanted to integrate two lake buildings into one single large home.
Connecting the nineteen-century property to the new one, the architect has created an incredible harmony among the villa, the garden and the lake. Casa Lake Orta, overlooking the square of the village of Pella, is large enough to host up to 22 guests all of them in bedrooms of the same luxury standard. The elegance of the eleven rooms located on the first floor is restored by the neutral shades of the furnishings; the wood contrasts beautifully with chrome and glass, heating the interior.
On the ground floor, the living room has two spacious sitting areas and the large dining room with stone made walls offers beautiful picture windows over the garden. The view over the serene lake and majestic mountains in the background from the floor-to-ceiling picture windows make the location feel like a dream.
Lake Orta is a pocket-size lake, with its thirteen kilometers of perimeter, whose shores are surrounded by cream-colored houses in sleepy lakeside towns with little squares, artisan shops, lovely restaurants, and several delicatessens to taste. At the center of the lake stands San Giulio island, from where the Basilica dominates the space with its mystical impressions. The magic atmosphere of Orta lake attracts numerous visitors every year.
Casa Lake Orta offers basic Nordic walking lessons, art history and photography, with expert guides and professional photographers, while the lake has water sports resorts to practice. Delicious fine dishes are prepared by the chef of the villa on request.
