An ancient luxury Italian masseria available for weekly holiday rentals recently restored to its original splendour; this is Morgana, a pearl within hectares of vineyards and olive groves and just 5 kilometres far from Gallipoli, in Salento, the southern part of the Puglia region.
The estate’s aristocratic roots come through in detail from a painted vaulted ceiling painted to tiled marble floors and Murano glass chandeliers.
The six en suite bedrooms are full of charm and character. Some of them are decorated with floral motifs and are equipped with antique furniture and fireplaces. Others have a modern décor, with large terraces and breathtaking views over the countryside and the sea at a distance. What they all have in common is the highest comfort as well as an exclusive private stone or plunge pool.
Morgana is by no doubt one of the most beautiful aristocratic villas of Gallipoli and its position makes it the perfect place for exploring the Salento region. While at Morgana, you can easily reach the villages of Chiesanuova and San Simone, where the Monastery of Santa Teresa stands, the town of Sannicola and the charming Alezio, with its 13th-century church, and Gallipoli is a fifteen-minute drive away.

villa not recommended for children due to the presence of swimming pools in the bedrooms and the ancient furniture. Morgana is situated along the street, therefore some car noise might occur. The professional kitchen can only be used under the supervision of the villa’s staff. Drinks have to be bought at the villa and can not be brought from external suppliers.
