The island called Favignana is a nature reserve characterized by bays with crystalline waters and a fishing village, offering shops and cosy restaurants where to enjoy excellent Sicilian cuisine. The island is almost flat, crossed by narrow roads, an ideal place for soft bike riders.
The design of the villa, together with its private fenced in Mediterranean garden, intersects with the wild Mediterranean nature offering a piece of paradise for its absolute comfort: air conditioning in all the rooms, and wifi inside the villa and in the garden area.
The house is composed of two separated units: the main house and a guest house. The villa has been built with sandstone, a typical rock of the Sicilian coastline.
The colour of the walls is perfectly integrated with the colours of the landscape. At a 500 meters distance, there is a beach with rocks, while at a five-minute bike ride you can find a sandy beach called ‘Cala Rossa’, a little bay with transparent turquoise seawater. A beach club is at a ten minutes drive by car or by bike.
Favignana Aegusa called by the Romans (Pliny 23-79 AD) is an enchanting place rich in myths, where the extraordinary light gives intense colour to the landscape and is caressed by warm breezes from Africa. It is possible to explore the superb natural beauty of the coasts by renting a little boat in the village.
The island is flat, so it's perfect for soft bike riders and has various white sandy beaches and spectacular coves to discover. The pool is at a fifty meters distance from the villa.

how to get to Favignana
the nearest airports are Birgi in Trapani and Falcone Borsellino in Palermo. From Trapani airport, you can take a taxi to reach its port (approx. 30 min. driving). From Palermo, the journey to Trapani port by car takes approx. 2 hours drive. From Trapani and Marsala ports there are several hydrofoils crossing daily to Favignana, the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once on the island, you can rent a car to reach the villa, you can contact our concierge service to arrange a car rental on the island.
