In southern Tuscany, not far from Montepulciano, this corner of paradise is located seven kilometres from Cetona. The villa offers a 360° panoramic view stretching from Val di Chiana to Mount Cetona. The highlight of this peaceful retreat is the swimming pool, offering uninterrupted views over the entire landscape and one of the most beautiful panoramas that Tuscany has to offer.
The villa is secluded and surrounded by three hectares of olive groves and a large garden enriched by cypresses, olive trees and lush green lawns. The outdoor lighting enhances the property at night and creates a vivid and vibrant atmosphere. Lunablu stands out as a true jewel in this incomparable setting.
The central part of the villa dates back to the sixteenth century, and in 1789 the house was extended. The villa offers several terraces arranged on different levels, ideal for relaxation and al fresco dining. The infinity pool, located in proximity to the villa, has been cleverly designed as a self-contained area and adjoined by a bocce court.
The owner of Lunablu has optimised every corner of the villa, transforming every space into a functional area. There are three double bedrooms and two bathrooms, both equipped with a bathtub and shower. In addition, there are two kitchens. A large professional kitchen is located on the lower level, with the possibility of dining both indoors and outdoors on the adjoining terrace. The second kitchen is smaller but fully-equipped and situated on the ground floor. The kitchen opens into a small dining room and features French doors leading to a terrace with a view, ideal for breakfast. A third terrace, overlooking the lighted garden, adjoins one of the bedrooms. At night, all terraces offer an amazing view of the most beautiful trees in the garden.

pets not allowed, nonsmoking villa. The villa is not suitable for people with mobility issues due to many steps. 300 meters gravel road in good condition. The pizza oven is usable only under supervision of the villa staff and according to their availability (2 staff members required). Between 5am and 7am, one member of the staff comes to the villa for the maintenance of the pool, and during the day another member will come for the general maintenance of the garden and outdoor area, privacy and silence are guaranteed.

"Would you recommend your villa?: yes! It was absolutely gorgeous. The grounds were like in a magazine. Pool was perfect. We loved all the different sitting and dining areas. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes/cutlery and really anything you could ever need.
Service before travel: the trip organizers I had were extremely helpful and I appreciated all of their help with organizing groceries/wine pre stocking, cooking lesson, pizza party, and basically anything I needed.
Service while on trip: everything went according to plan, so I didn’t really require much help while on our trip
Villa location: the location was absolutely perfect. Extremely picturesque views and quiet Tuscan countryside.
Staff in the villa: Catia was very friendly and does a great job. It was sometimes challenging communicating, as she doesn’t speak any English, but we got by. We appreciated her visits.
Cleanliness: everything was very clean.
Home in Italy assistance: loved having the help of the concierge! It made things so much easier for me. I feel we were able to organize much better than I would have been able to do just on my own. I really appreciated this service!

"Would you recommend your villa?: I think I would, but only for adults. The separation of the two sleeping spaces was a little complicated with a 4 year old on our trip.
Service before travel: Service was very attentive before the trip.
Villa location: Villa location was fine - we were able to visit several cities during our stay.
Staff in the villa: The chef and her daughter were fabulous - I would highly recommend them to other guests.

"Beautifully restored old farmhouse. So much charm. Wonderful views!
We had a fantastic time at Lunablu. I would highly recommend it. The house was lovely, the grounds were very well maintained, and the pool was just right. The views are spectacular. Of note, the main kitchen is on the lower level and not directly connected to the main house. This makes dinner feel extra special (like you are going out to dinner). The villa is near the town of Cetona. Very nice little town. As for the overall experience, our concierge was spectacular. She really made things easy and helped out so much. And had great recommendations. Well done!"
