Remote, expansive valley south of Siena, Val d’Orcia is characterized by rolling hills, where the sweeping landscape is wildly compelling. Set high on a hill, Centovalli was a ruined farmhouse converted in 2022 into a contemporary piece of art. Boasting 6 bedrooms for a total of 12 guests, every bedroom enjoys glorious Tuscan surroundings. The main entrance reaches the bedrooms via wooden staircases that create a unique geometric system, reminding paintings of artist Escher. This private luxury villa is a favourite of high-profile guests seeking quiet relaxation. Large rooms in the living areas, furnishings of luxury design, the hydromassage pool, and the gym, all these facilities put the villa at a luxury level of accommodation. Little sign of tourism makes Val d’Orcia extremely pleasant, being a newfound vacation place for luxury, this is reflected in an increasing number of creative trattorias, wine-and-walking holidays and the discreet infiltration of Italian VIPs. Our stay at Centovalli in the Val D’Orcia region of Tuscany was absolutely perfect! The space itself was stunning and well designed with inviting and comfortable living spaces — every corner had that warm, authentic Tuscan charm with a refined sensibility. The Home in Italy staff couldn’t have been more attentive or helpful, going above and beyond to make sure everything was just right, even helping us arrange special experiences and services. The villa sits in a remarkable, panoramic landscape hard to describe. There is easy access to so many stunning towns and sites nearby. We had no issues at all — every question was answered, and every detail was handled with care. Truly an unforgettable experience!

Would you recommend your villa?: Without a doubt! This villa is stunning and the attention to detail is unbelievable. We absolutely loved the layout for our 3 families. The location is perfect for wine tasting and zipping into the many surrounding towns for a gelato break.
Service before travel: The home in Italy team (specifically Benedetta) were so helpful arranging a chef for a pasta class for our kids, massages on site, a private wine tasting from a local winery in the villa’s wine cellar and an adult dinner at the villa cooked by the chef.
Service while on trip: The home in Italy team was always available for whatever we needed!
Staff in the villa: The loveliest ladies came every day (except Sunday) to clean from 9am and stayed for 4 hours! It was wonderful!
Cleanliness: The villa was spotless

“Everything about our week at Centovalli was top-notch! We would highly recommend this for families or couples travelling. There was tons of space for everyone and we cannot wait to go back! Every activity that was organized was so perfect. Chef Gabriele that came for the pasta party and to prepare our group dinner was so lovely. He was patient with the kids and they all adored him. Plus his food was easily some of the best we have ever had and I would call us foodies.”
