  Pompei Vesuvio
Vesuvius is a volcano located in Italy. Dominating the Gulf of Naples with the Campi Flegrei places in the north-west of the city, it is currently the only active volcano of this type throughout continental Europe and is among the most dangerous volcanoes in the world and studied; this is due to the fact that on its slopes and in the vicinity is home to about three million people, and the consequences of an eruption would be extremely devastating.

Pompei Ercolano
Herculaneum was a residential coastal town that has been superbly preserved due to the fact that it was covered in Volcanic mud during the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD.
The buildings have been so well preserved that you can walk down the streets pretty much exactly as the Romans would have done over 2000 years ago! There are still original timbers showing in the buildings and clay pots stored as they would have been at the time of the eruption.
It was believed that many of the inhabitants of the town managed to successfully flee unlike those not so fortunate in Pompeii.
The terrible eruption of Vesuvius that buried Pompeii on August 24, AD 79. it has left to posterity the opportunity to enjoy and visit the city as it appeared to the ancient inhabitants just before the catastrophe. The Pompeians did not know that the "Mount Vesuvius" was a volcano.

For a small island, it has many faces and all of them beautiful. This little bit of paradise is sure to enchant. Ischia is also an important spa town famous for its water.

 Ischia Mortella gardens

The Aragonese Castle, easily considered Ischia’s most famous historical monument, stands on a volcanic rock connected to the island by a bridge first built in 1438, an impressive sight and a not to be missed photo opportunity. The La Mortella Gardens were created by the English composer, William Walton and his Argentinean wife.
